In order to add the 20% time into the school setting we would have to impanelment block scheduling into our school. It would be 4 periods a day then a lunch and advisory period. Here is a proposed schedule that I have created:
1st Hour would be 8:30 to 9:40 with a 5 minute passing time
2nd Hour would be from 9:45 to 11:00
Then have the 4 lunch periods and advisory from 11:05 to 1:00- In this time would also be the proposed work time for you to create new things or if you are an underclassmen then this is the time, when you are not in lunch, to get help on any class you are having trouble in, finish homework, study, or work on anything else school related.
3rd Hour would be 1:05 to 2:15
Then the last hour of the day would be 2:20 to 3:30 to end the day!
